Privacy notice.

The Sabah Interior Designers Society ("SAIDS", "we", "us") respects your privacy and handles your personal data in line with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

What we collect

When you apply for or hold membership, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company (optional), chosen membership type, and the payment receipt you upload.

Why we collect it

To process your application and payment, administer your membership (your member ID, validity dates and renewals), and contact you about your membership, society events and relevant updates.

Storage & retention

Your data is held in our membership system for as long as you are a member, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, unless you ask us to remove it. Uploaded receipts are stored privately and viewed only by authorised administrators to verify payment.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary to run the society (for example, our committee) or where required by law.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw your consent at any time, by contacting us at info@saids.org.my.
